The Bally Astrocade is a console built just how I like it: All Graphics. Almost all of its RAM is used just rendering the screen, making it a very difficult console to work with. It's sound capabilities were also nothing short of staggering.
The sprites I made for the graphics section are done in two styles: One using a 4 colour limit as an in game sprite, the other being made using an astrocades full screen colour palette, which is 8 colours from what I can gather.
Next console is gonna be a big one...
